A booking system only works well when the details are set up correctly. Half-finished profiles, unclear services, missing prices, or weak policies create more messages instead of fewer.
Build your service menu carefully
- Use clear service names clients understand.
- Add accurate prices or price ranges.
- Set realistic durations, buffers, and processing time.
- Assign each service to the staff members who can perform it.
- Add short descriptions so clients choose the right appointment.
Set booking rules before clients arrive
Decide your cancellation window, deposit rules, no-show policy, rescheduling rules, and whether clients can book recurring appointments. Make these policies visible before checkout.
Connect staff, payments, and reminders
Check working hours, breaks, holidays, location rules, payment settings, reminder timing, and client notifications. Test each flow as if you were a client before publishing the link.
Update every public link
Place your booking link on Instagram, Google Business Profile, Facebook, your website, WhatsApp templates, and email signatures. If your salon uses QR codes, update those too.
