How to Delete Your Account and Data

1. Introduction

Welcome to Caloti ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and services.

2. Information We Collect

Personal Information

When you register for an account, book appointments, or use our services, we may collect:

  • Name and contact information (email address, phone number)
  • Account credentials (username and password)
  • Profile information (profile picture, preferences)
  • Booking history and preferences
  • Payment information (processed securely through our payment providers)
  • Location data (with your permission)

Automatically Collected Information

When you visit our platform, we automatically collect certain information about your device:

  • IP address and device information
  • Browser type and version
  • Time zone and location
  • Operating system
  • Usage data and analytics

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain our services
  • Process bookings and transactions
  • Send booking confirmations and reminders
  • Improve and personalize your experience
  • Communicate with you about services, updates, and promotions
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve our platform
  • Detect and prevent fraud or security issues
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Information Sharing

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • With Salons and Stylists: When you book an appointment, we share necessary information to fulfill your booking
  • Service Providers: With trusted third parties who assist us in operating our platform
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
  • Business Transfers: In connection with any merger, sale, or acquisition
  • With Your Consent: When you explicitly agree to sharing

Optional diagnostics and marketing measurement

Caloti offers optional diagnostics on web and mobile to help us troubleshoot failures, understand confusing flows, and improve product quality. These diagnostics can include session replay, device or network metadata, breadcrumbs, and linked user context when you explicitly consent to them.

On the web, optional diagnostics currently use Microsoft Clarity, while optional marketing measurement can include ad attribution tags such as Meta Pixel. On mobile, optional diagnostics can include replay and crash or error monitoring through Sentry and the configured mobile replay provider. We do not enable optional replay or optional web marketing tags until users make a consent choice, and users can later revisit that choice from the product settings or cookie controls.

Essential security, authentication, and service-delivery data may still be processed even if optional diagnostics are turned off, because those records are necessary to provide the core platform safely and reliably.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information. These measures include encryption, secure servers, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: Request access to your personal data
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your data
  • Portability: Request transfer of your data
  • Opt-out: Opt-out of marketing communications
  • Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent for data processing
